Other small businesses we like!

Here in Alaska we have a ton of small handmade businesses, so we'd like to share some of our favorites, and we hope they'll soon be your favorites too!

Headband Happy AK headbandhappyak.com

The owner is just the sweetest. We have mutual vendor shows together maybe once a year (sometimes not at all), and whenever I pop into her booths, she always remembers me and asks how I am. Her products are fantastic quality, and since we share some fabric suppliers, you can occasionally find accessories to match your Something Snappy handbags and wallets!

Mountains & Mermaids mountainsandmermaids.com

Another great place for apparel! Owners Monica and Sara are a mother/daughter dynamic duo! I have been shopping with them since their early days, and love to snag their new tank top designs every year. In addition to super cute mermaid and nautical-wear, they also have their own line of coffee!

Art by Chantelle Marie artbychantellemarie.com

I met Chantelle through a local gift shop, and we became Instagram chat buddies months before meeting in person. Seriously one of the kindest, and most talented women I have met! Chantelle creates painted and digital art of super cute animals and faith-based imagery on a variety of materials, including stickers! (I highly recommend her mermoose and narzilla ones). They make for great gifts for friends or when you want to treat yourself!

Whittier Fudge https://whittier-fudge.square.site/

A small family-run business, Whittier fudge makes THE BEST fudge I've ever had. And they ship! The tunnel special and peanut butter/chocolate are drool worthy. You won't regret ordering some! <3
